  Learn about Historic Mokena

This year the Mokena Festival includes a chance to look into the some of the History of Mokena. The Mokena Area Historical Society will present a one day display of Historic items and artifacts. Visitors will enjoy seeing some pieces of Mokena's distant and recent past.

Help us to preserve Mokena's Past - 

During the display, we will have a computer and scanner on hand. Bring your old photos or documents and scan them to the Historical Society's archives. You won't have to let your precious items out of you hands or site. It only takes a minute and will NOT harm your documents.
